Questions
What is your photography style?
Our photography is classic, natural and true to tone. We focus primarily on candid moments and genuine interactions, while gently directing you when needed to create beautiful, considered portraits. The result is imagery that feels effortless rather than overly posed.
Do you direct couples for portraits?
Yes, but only when needed. We'll give you gentle direction and create space for natural moments to happen, rather than putting you through a series of rigid poses. Our aim is for your portraits to feel like you, not like a photoshoot.
How are our photos delivered?
Your finished images are delivered in a private online gallery, carefully edited and curated as a complete collection. You'll be able to view, share and download your images in high resolution, so they're ready to keep and print for years to come.
Can we have both photography and videography?
Yes, and most of our couples choose to have both. Photography gives you the still frames you'll return to again and again, while film brings back the movement, voices, music and atmosphere of the day. Having the same team capture both means the two naturally complement each other.
What happens if it rains?
The same as it does for the film, we keep shooting. Overcast and wet-weather light can be incredibly beautiful for photographs, and if your plans move indoors, we simply adapt and continue capturing the day as it unfolds.
How many hours of coverage do we need?
Most weddings are comfortably covered within eight hours, which allows us to capture everything from getting ready through to your first dance. If your ceremony and reception are at different locations, or there's a significant distance between them, we recommend allowing a little extra time for travel. Ultimately, it depends on how you'd like your day captured. Some couples prefer coverage from the moment they start getting ready, while others may only want us to begin from the ceremony.
How long until we get our gallery?
You'll typically receive your final package within six to twelve weeks after your wedding, depending on the season and the number of weddings ahead of yours in our editing queue. We take our time with every film and gallery to make sure everything feels just right.
Do you travel to the Yarra Valley and regional Victoria?
Yes! We regularly shoot weddings across regional Victoria, from the Yarra Valley and Dandenongs to the Mornington Peninsula. We're also happy to travel further afield, including overseas for destination weddings. Just let us know your venue and we can confirm the details.
