Mimi & Josh’s wedding weekend unfolded across some of Uluwatu’s most beautiful coastal settings, bringing together a mix of relaxed gatherings and bigger celebrations. The weekend began with a welcome event at Single Fin on Wednesday, overlooking the cliffs and ocean as friends and family arrived in Bali.
The wedding day took place at Teja, Uluwatu, a contemporary venue surrounded by tropical greenery and dramatic Balinese landscapes. With its open-air spaces and natural textures, Teja created a relaxed backdrop for the day.
The bridesmaids got ready at The Ungasan before the celebrations began, with the day unfolding from quiet morning moments into a lively celebration at Teja. The weekend continued with a recovery event at White Rock on Saturday, giving everyone one more chance to come together by the coast.
From the welcome drinks to the wedding day and final recovery, Mimi & Josh’s Bali celebration felt like a full weekend shared with the people closest to them, with each setting bringing its own atmosphere to the story.
We had the absolute pleasure of working with Golden Films for our wedding videography. Leah and Christine filmed our wedding in Uluwatu in October 2025, and we truly couldn’t be happier with the result.
They captured our day so beautifully and authentically. They created a highlight film, edited the full ceremony and speeches, plus amazing social snippets and (my personal favourite) the Super 8 film. Every piece felt so intentional and full of emotion. The videos are filled with love and genuinely reflect the joy of the day.
My grandparents, who couldn't attend Bali, said they felt like they were there, which speaks volumes about how perfectly the day was captured. My stepdad, who works in TV production, commented on how beautifully the footage was edited and how well it told a story.
Being able to relive our wedding through their work is something we’ll treasure forever. As an added bonus, they also captured photos at our welcome drinks (some pics attached) and recovery, which was so special to have.
We are beyond grateful, I couldn’t recommend them more highly.
