Heather & Jordan’s wedding took place at Mount Vernon Villa in Hawke’s Bay, New Zealand, with an Art Deco-inspired style running throughout the day. The historic villa and surrounding landscape created a beautiful contrast between old-world character and a more relaxed, modern celebration.

From the styling and details through to the atmosphere of the reception, the Art Deco theme was carried through in a way that felt considered without taking away from the day itself. There were plenty of candid moments throughout, from conversations between guests to champagne, dancing and the quieter moments happening around the edges of the celebrations.

Set amongst the landscapes of Hawke’s Bay, Mount Vernon Villa gave the day a distinctive sense of place, combining historic architecture, elegant styling and the relaxed feel of a destination wedding in New Zealand.
